Compliance Division

The Compliance Division is the investigation and enforcement arm of the SC Workers’ Compensation Commission. When a claim is filed for which there is no apparent insurance coverage, the case is assigned to an investigator to determine if the named party is insured and/ or subject to the Act. The division prosecutes employers who fail to maintain workers’ compensation coverage.
